Readers are Leaders

For Participants

October - November session

Children from grades 1, 2 or 3 are matched with volunteer partners from the community. The volunteers are trained to work with your child one-on-one during a one-hour session.

The program is available at two branches:

Mary J L Black on Tuesdays at six and seven pm from October 3 - Nov 28 (no program on Oct 31)

Waverley Library on Thursdays at six and seven pm from October 5 - November 23

For your convenience, you can now register by visiting our calendar and clicking on Readers are Leaders on Oct 3rd (for Tuesdays at MJLB) or Oct 5th (for Thursdays at Waverley). Check the location and time of the program before registering to make sure it is the one you want! You can also register by phone by calling any branch or simply stop by in person.

Once your registration has been received, the program coordinator will contact you with more questions about your child's reading practice needs.

REGISTRATION OPENS AUGUST 21
