Readers are Leaders

Our Readers are Leaders program matches children in grades 1, 2 or 3 with a volunteer from the community to read together and enjoy fun activities that build confidence, interest, and the joy of reading!

The program is held weekly on Wednesdays at Brodie, and Thursdays at Waverley, beginning the week of January 15, and ending the week of March 5.  There will be no session at Brodie on February 28th.  You can apply for the 5:30 - 6:30, or 6:30 - 7:30 time slot.

Volunteers aged 13 and older are invited to register and help kids develop a love of reading.  Volunteers over the age of 18 require a current (not older than a year) Police Information Check.
