Group Visits and Tours
Brownie or Cub groups or any community agency or organization is welcome to book a tour or visit for their group. A tour may include an orientation to the library branch and its services and collections, instruction on the Kids' catalogue or demonstrations of electronic databases, a book talk, puppet show, storytelling or other activity appropriate to your group's needs.
Call Children's Services at 345-TBPL (8275) to discuss availability, times and content for your free tour.
Thunder Bay Transit continues to offer teachers and their students from JK through grade 12 FREE transit service on regularly scheduled bus routes. This applies to class visits to and from the Brodie, Waverley and Mary J.L. Black Library.
After booking your library class visit, teachers should go to thunderbay.ca/transit and click on "Charter a Bus". Fill out the School Trip Requisition Form and sent it on by fax or email as per the instructions on the form.
